This year we once again come together to honour the life of Tony “Toss” Aulsebrook – a much-loved member of our community, teammate, family man, and friend, who we tragically lost to suicide at the end of 2016.

Toss was a partner at Allen, Price & Scarratts and a familiar face around the local football scene. He played his junior and early senior years with Illaroo, before later pulling on the boots again with Shoalhaven Heads in the Over 35s, sharing the field with great mates.

Since 2017, Illaroo and Shoalhaven Heads have proudly taken turns hosting this annual 1st Grade Memorial Match in his honour. But this day is about more than football.

It’s about remembering Toss, recognising all those we have lost to suicide, and standing together to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
